Amanda Collins is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern at Solace Chateau. She is currently in her final year of her master’s program at Xavier University and working under supervision as she grows as a clinician in the mental health industry.
Amanda enjoys working with adults, perinatal populations, queer individuals, and couples, and has a deep passion for supporting people through the many transitions that life brings. Her approach is rooted in Narrative Therapy, which is the belief that you are the author of your story. Sometimes, life events or challenges can make it feel like the story isn’t your own anymore, and her role is to help you rewrite it. She creates a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable exploring your world, building authenticity, and reconnecting with your strengths.
Outside of counseling, Amanda loves reading, all things matcha, the color green, traveling, and trying new experiences. She is excited to be part of the Solace Chateau team and to walk alongside you in your journey.
